Craig H. Collison, MD
Craig Collison, MD, grew up in State College. He graduated from the State College Area High School and received his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science and Mechanics at The Pennsylvania State University.
He went on to medical school, graduating from The Bowman Gray School of Medicine of Wake Forest University. He then went to Case Western Reserve University, where he completed his general pediatrics residency program at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, part of University Hospitals of Cleveland.
Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Collison currently works as a pediatric physician with Mount Nittany Physician Group with offices in Boalsburg and Bellefonte. He also serves as a Director and Vice Chair for the Mount Nittany Physician Group Board, also chairing the Patient Quality Care Committee. Dr. Collison is also the Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Mount Nittany Medical Center and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at The Pennsylvania State University.
Dr. Collison enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He is the President of the Penns Valley Park and Recreation Association and is an active member of Grace United Methodist Church in Centre Hall. He is a big sports fan and has coached many youth sports, including volleyball, baseball, football and basketball. He currently coaches with Penns Valley Youth Basketball and is an assistant coach for the Penns Valley High School Varsity Football program.
